Jobs in Chippenham, GTS has a fantastic opportunity for a 1st Line IT Support Engineer. This role is for our client in Chippenham on a permanent basis. The position comes with flexible hours and working from home is available.

This role is Monday to Friday but due to the nature of the work, some weekend working and outside normal hours may be needed.

Essentials Skills
Firstly, exceptional customer service skills and telephone manner
Secondly, 2 years’ experience working on a service desk
Experience working with 3rd party software/solution providers
Most importantly, Desktop support experience
Likewise, familiarity with laptop and desktop builds
Also, Active Directory Administration (passwords, users, groups, permissions)
Office 365 Administration (passwords, users, groups, permissions)
Lastly, laptop/PC diagnostics, upgrades and repairs

The Salary dependent on experience is between £22,000 to £25,000

Helpful information about this position:

37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday, due to the nature of the job some work at weekends and outside of normal hours may be required. Travel to customer sites will be required so a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

This role requires a DBS and BPSS check.
