If you are looking for Kildare job, this role could be perfect for you. We are looking for a customer-focused and enthusiastic Desktop Support Engineer to support our client, based on their site in Leixlip, Kildare. The salary is €29,000 per annum

This is an entry level, permanent full-time position working in a team of 10 technicians, and a wider team of 23 IT support specialists.

As a Desktop Support Engineer you will:

Firstly, provide 1st and 2nd level laptop / desktop support

Secondly, monitor and update the call management system

Provide support for; Walk-in Service Centre, installs, break-fix, refresh, training and conference rooms and audio visual Support

Troubleshoot office software issues

Support the wireless office environment

Participate in project based assignments when required

Provide support for all warehouse equipment – RF guns, scanners, barcode label printers etc

Lastly, participate in the weekly Audio-Visual maintenance schedule when required

What we’re looking for:

Firstly, 1 years’ experience in a similar position is desirable

Secondly, professional, with excellent communication and organisational skills

Ability to quickly adapt and learn

Must be a team player

Also, be able to work with minimal supervision

Likewise, track record of hardware knowledge

Furthermore, experience in Refresh/Roll-out activity

Also, proficient knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10. Windows 11 etc..) and the Microsoft Office suite

Lastly, manual Handling Experience

Desirable qualification:

Safe pass certified
