GTS Peterborough jobs has a great role for a Service Desk Analys. The Peterborough Role is for a Service Desk Analyst – 1st line

Shifts – 10.5 paid hours (1.5hr break) 20:00 to 08:00. 4 nights on and 4 nights off.

Contracts is for 3 months but extension available.

A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Firstly, you will be answering call from customers and logging incidents ensuring all relevant data is captured.
Also, you will be a single point of contact to our customers and ensure incidents are managed through to resolution.
1st Line Support of Wintel / Retail as well as Hardware-related incidents.
You will be updating incidents logged on the Incident Management system and provide end-users with a technical solution within Service Level Agreements.
Keep customers updated on incidents.
Additionally, escalate incidents where a first-time fix is not possible to either 2nd line support or the relevant resolver group.
Act as a role model for technical competence, helpfulness, facilitation of learning, and teamwork.
Lastly, you will be contributing to team meetings.

IDEALLY, WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE BELOW SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Firstly, good knowledge of IT platforms, equipment, and applications.
Must have good customer service skills.
6 months of experience in a similar environment.
Finally, industry-recognized qualifications in relevant area are desirable (i.e. MCP).
