Desktop Support Engineer
GTS has some great Desktop Support Engineer jobs. This role is a IT Contract based in Dublin. The contract term is 4 to 6 weeks but this could be extended. The hourly rate is 27 Euro an hour. 2 to 3 years of 2nd Level Deskside support experience is a must have for this position.
Firstly, respond to customer incidents, service requests and manage through to a successful resolution
Secondly, deliver a deskside service to the customer, including hardware break fix and software support for laptops and desktops across the site.
Thirdly, maintain desktop devices.
Likewise, manage and maintain the configuration and installation of desktops, including patch updates and hardware replacements.
Finally, monitor security profiles and anti-virus software on all Desktop Devices. Take appropriate action in the event of non-compliance with security requirements.
Firstly, good understanding of Hard/Soft IMAC.
Secondly, must work well work under pressure and easily adapt to change.
O365 & MS suite end user support is also needed
Also, outstanding customer service and excellent English skills
Must be good at troubleshooting, hand on and have a good eye for detail
Knowledge of network protocols, server hardware and configurations.
Furthermore, basis knowledge of peripheral networks and connections
Lastly, multi device support and ticket management
