If you are looking for IT jobs in the Gloucester area, we have a great role for a Deskside Support Engineer II. This position is located in Stonehouse, Gloucester. The salary is up to £31,350.
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, between the hours of 07:30 and 17:00.
As a desktop support engineer, you will be working in partnership with a high-profile company that provides engineered systems and components for the automotive industry. In addition to supporting the onsite customer, you will also provide remote support to the client’s satellite sites, including the installation, servicing, and repair of systems and equipment.
Firstly, incident management and resolution
Secondly, IMACDs: Installations, Moves, Additions, Changes, and Deletions
Furthermore, provide onsite hardware break/fix support (Dell) and manage OEM warranty providers.
Also, provide remote support to satellite sites and act as smart hands and eyes.
Likewise, provide mobile device support, maintain, and update existing network infrastructure.
Give peripheral support and asset, stock, and loaner equipment management
Also, coordinate all Multi-Function Device (MFD) and network printer installs.
Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of systems and equipment.
Provide project services as and when required.
Lastly, be the central point of contact for the customer.
Firstly, great troubleshooting skills
Secondly, experience in a similar role
Likewise, support knowledge across Windows 10, O365, AD, and SCCM.
Also, knowledge of administering Windows Share\File permissions
Experience in mobile connectivity (e.g., Android or iPhone)
Good time management and organisational skills
Able to follow detailed instructions
Excellent communicator, both face-to-face and over the phone.
Furthermore, you must be able to deal productively with a high workload with minimal supervision.
Lastly, you must be willing to travel.
