We have an exciting opportunity for an AV engineer. This role is a one-year contract in London.

This role is Inside IR35. This post is for Umbrella contractors only.

A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Management of onsite AV Technical Management. This includes configuration and installation of AV devices. For example, Poly, Crestron, AMX, Cisco, Yealink, Logitech, and Microsoft Teams.
Perform routine testing and problem diagnosis for projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and LCD and Plasma Displays.
Perform maintenance to resolve problems or identify resolutions. This is to appropriate vendors or manufacturers.
Coordinate with AV equipment OEMs for resolution and workarounds, when required.
Assist with company meetings and functions that require the use of AV infrastructure. This includes audio, video conferencing, webcasting, visual display or projection, and control system (AMX, Crestron) operations.
Interact with client Customer Help Desk ticketing system to respond to end-user requests.
Setup and breakdown of all onsite meetings.
Daily system testing. This is to ensure equipment and room function properly.
Responsible for escalating all “next level” break-fix issues to manager for resolution.
Perform remote testing for local and regional offices.
Polycom AV equipment management and configuration.
Establish and test individual and group VC sessions. For example, meeting support. This includes consultation of users on the best possible connection type.

IDEALLY, WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE BELOW KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Videoconferencing working knowledge including operation, call set-up, and equipment.
Good at communication.
Confident in interacting with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work with all levels of the organization.
Ensure operational availability of all dedicated audiovisual and Video Production environments.
Ability to work and think independently.
Good at meeting deadlines.
Good knowledge of Windows-based devices.
Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities.
Strong skills in organisation.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good verbal and written skills.
Proven customer service focus.
3 to 5 plus years of industry experience in fields relating to the technical management of AV.
Certification from respected vendors, Poly, Crestron (CTS), AMX, Cisco, Microsoft.
Experience with Microsoft Teams and O365 integration.
ITIL v3. Foundation a Plus.
Cisco – CCNA Video, CCNA Routing, and switching is an advantage.
