GTS’s Deployment Engineer Jobs in Leven. GTS has an exciting IT Contract role for a Deployment Engineer in Leven, Scotland. This is on an initial 1 to 2 month contract but this may be extended.

This is a site-based contract role and is inside IR35. As a result, this role is suited to umbrella contractors only. The day rate for this role is up to £160.

Contractors will need to have a valid DBS certificate.

Overview of tasks:

Firstly, provide support for the installation and configuration of IT assets.
Support and set up IT assets. This is including POS, Thin clients, desktops, laptops, printers, Label printers, Scanners, and IT peripherals.
Also, coordinate with Service Desk, Operations Managers and Tower Leads for issue resolution and service requests.
Finally, maintain and report hardware asset stock.

Key Skills and Experience needed:

Firstly, experience in supporting mobile devices. This includes iPads, iPhones, etc. as well as MDM.
Have a good knowledge of Networking, Wi-Fi, VPN, and Links.
Working experience in Microsoft technology. This includes Windows 7 and 10 and O365, MS Teams.
Experience in supporting performance and resolving client related issues.
Have the ability to work on your own and as a member of a team.
Also, have the ability to work well under pressure.
Finally, have a good understanding of Asset management.
