DevOps Jobs –  DevOps Support Engineer. The location is Peterborough or London. The salary is £60,000 to £80,000.
This role is hybrid. You will spend an average of 2 days a week in the office.

Firstly, configure and maintain our Microsoft Azure landing zone, applications, and networking in an IaC environment.
Monitor cloud platforms for failures and performance problems. Resolve or escalate issues.
Also, respond to incidents logged in the Incident Management system. Provide end users with a technical solution within SLAs.
Work with delivery teams to verify and adapt new solutions. This is for the transition to operational support.
Automate deployment processes. Improve the reliability of systems.
Finally, be a champion for DevOps technical competence and support team learning.


Firstly, 5+ years in a similar SLA driven support role.
Hands-on experience with Terraform managed infrastructure on Azure.
Strong experience with the Microsoft Azure platform and the Landing Zone pattern.
Also, have excellent skills with Powershell, bash, Python, YAML, and HELM.
Understand DevOps mindset, tools, and concepts.
Solid knowledge of Azure compute, storage, network, monitoring, and backup technologies.
Have industry recognised qualifications in relevant areas of the Microsoft Azure Platform.
Knowledge of Zero-Trust security concepts and best practices.
Finally, proven customer service skills.


Firstly, experience working with containers and managing Kubernetes.
Good knowledge of Azure virtual networking and diagnostics.
Experience with Git and the GitOps model.
Understanding of cloud cost saving. This includes Autoscaling, computing, and storage optimisation.
Also, experience building and maintaining CI and CD pipelines.
Understand On-premise infrastructure in a Hybrid role.
ITIL Service Operations Framework. This includes Incident, Change, Problem, and Major Incident Management.
Also, be a good team player.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Be punctual and reliable.
Be positive, enthusiastic, and supportive.
Ability to work under pressure.
Maintain and develop technical skills.
Able to travel to clients’ UK-based sites and data centres.
Finally, operate outside of core hours as and when required.
