A fantastic opportunity for an Information Security engineer/ SOC Analyst to join a blue chip organisation. This job is hybrid,  three days working from home and the other days from London or Peterborough.

A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Firstly, you will have responsibility for all Information Security tools and address tickets/emails daily. Secondly, beside staying on top of incidents, you will provide Info-sec related advice and guidance to the Security Architects to aid continual improvement of our clients security controls.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering day to day Information Security oversight bringing full assurance, improvement and quality while being accountable for ensuring service excellence is delivered across the team through solutions. And ensuring that the technical community delivers designs and implementations to the appropriate quality and Info-sec standards.

Finally:

Collaborating as needed with UK and Global functional peers to ensure that security incidents are addressed appropriately in line with policies, procedures and technologies.
Develop, implement and maintain the information security safeguards and measures to
enforce our clients information security policies, standards, and procedures
Consult with internal business partners to identify network and security
requirements and implement with required security controls and network standards
Be able to provide level 2 support for Information Security
Ensure that new projects / deliverables are reviewed from a Network Engineering and InfoSec perspective and they meet  clients standards.
Assist with Information security incident response activity
Provide regular updates to Business leadership on UK and International Security
Posture and ongoing initiatives.
Assist with the delivery of commercial success while improving productivity.
Attend Global Architectural review boards on behalf of Corporate IT and the Wider UK
Organisation as required.
Research emerging trends and ideas and evaluate new technologies.
Develop, implement and maintain a strong Information Security centric focus across
all business areas.

IDEALLY, WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE BELOW KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES:

Firstly, technical experience with security solutions and compliance with NIST, PCI and ISO27001.
Secondly, experienced in the production and maintenance of Info-sec related documentation such as, ISMS and infosec policies.
Furthermore, demonstrable ability to Investigate and resolve security related incidents and
escalations on bids, projects and BAU.
Be able to act as the primary interface with Compliance and IT
Most importantly, ability to Support the design, delivery and operation of large scale, complex IT programmes.
Have a good understanding of commercial and business drivers together with strong planning, communication, and presentation skills.
