Jobs in Amsterdam, GTS has a great role for a New Business Development Manager/Account Manager. This role is at a blue chip company in Amsterdam on a full-time basis.
The role will be remote working; however, candidates will need to travel for client meetings.
Salary is between 45,000- and 100,000-euros depending on experience.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for all sales activities. This includes lead generation through to closing business within territory. Develop agreed-upon territory sales plan, which will meet both personal and business goals for the territory. Work with presales engineering and sales support teams to achieve customer satisfaction, account acquisition, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with the company vision and values.
You will be responsible for the sales of server and storage maintenance agreements.
Furthermore, technical selling and offering knowledge to prospects, qualify, develop and close new business.
Also, develop annual sales plan with the Sales Manager, which will detail activities to follow during the fiscal year.
Must understand the competitive landscape, pricing, and proposal models.
Hold and lead business conversations with business influencers and decision makers.
Maximize opportunities to close business and take market share.
Sell and make recommendations to prospects and clients on the solutions the company offers to meet their business issues.
Develop a database of qualified leads in CRM through referrals, cold calling on prospects, direct mail, email, and networking.
Assist in territory marketing plans as needed.
Source and develop client relationships and referrals.
Gather and submit detailed qualifying information for pricing and presentation of solutions to identified prospects.
Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities. Furthermore, use the CRM and Microsoft Outlook to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential.
Adheres to company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
Participate and contribute to training and educational programs.
Must be good at time management.
Address opportunities to operate more efficiently and effectively.
5 years of working within an I.T Sales and or IT New Business Development role.
Also, must be Fluent in Dutch and English.
Experience in calling on CIOs, CTOs, CFOs, Strategic Sourcing, Directors of IT, Systems Administrators, and/or Data Center Managers.
Proven track record of hitting sales targets.
Demonstrated goal attainment track record over multiple plan years.
