GTS’s Jobs in Hounslow. We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Desktop Support Engineer / IT Technician to join a blue-chip organisation in Hounslow on a permanent basis.

Working Hours:
Shifts 4 on and 4 off.
12 hours per shift, 4 am to 4 pm and 4 pm to 4 am.
7 Days a Week.
The salary is £19,500 plus £1920 Shift allowance.

Responsibilities for this role:

Firstly, image PC’s, Laptops, Tablets, and Smart Phones in line with Customer SLAs.
Control the Customer call queue. Ensure the SLA is met and all jobs are completed to the specified process and standards.
Also, update any required databases and spreadsheets with accuracy as requested.
Secure receipt of hardware from Customer suppliers, for example, Laptops, desktops, screens, SFF printers, peripherals, and cables.
Identify any devices under Warranty.
Log and oversee warranty repair.
Assist with deliveries and shipments as required. This includes booking In and out using required databases or spreadsheets.
Also, undertake any additional workshop configuration activities as directed.
Comply with all Health and Safety rulings.
Finally, comply with any security rulings and report anything suspicious to local management.

Key Experience Needed:

Firstly, some previous experience is required at a Junior level.
Also, have basic IT skills in Microsoft products.
Good Maths and English skills.
Must have a full clean driving license.
Finally, you must have 5 years’ worth of referenceable work history or education.
