GTS’s Jobs in Port Talbot. We have an urgent requirement for a Desktop Support engineer working for one of our prestigious clients based on-site in Port Talbot. This will be on an initial 3 month contract. However, extensions on this contract are likely.

This role is inside IR35 so applicants will need to go through an umbrella company.
A DBS check is required for this role.

This contract Desktop Support Engineer role has a day rate of £130. This role is based in Port Talbot, Wales.

Job Description:

Firstly, perform L1 and L2 administrative tasks.
Perform laptop and/or desktop build using image.
Perform testing of client applications and report their status.
IMAC’s, hands and eyes, basic support. L1-L2 engineer.
Install licensed software on end user machines.
Also, coordinate with hardware vendor/OEMs for break fix.
Finally, provide technical and configuration support for any Office 365 products. For example, Outlook, and Office Suite.

Key skills:

Firstly, have good English skills, both written and verbal.
Have previous experience in a similar role.
Previous experience in Office 365 support.
Also, be a good communicator.
Work well under pressure and adapt well to change.
Finally, have the ability to work alone and as a member of a team.
