Our client is looking for sc cleared Service Desk Analysts in Aldermaston, Reading.
This is a Technical Remote role within a Service Desk team. This role is working from home with a rotated 1 in 4 weeks in the office. This is to provide 1st Line ICT support via telephone, e-mail, as well as online chat, to around 8000 end users.
Provide Helpdesk and Web support through remote tools, telephone assistance, and email support.
This role involves working a shift from 07:00 to 18:00 hours.
DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:
Firstly, troubleshoot a variety of hardware and software issues.
Log reports and manage requests;
Monitor systems, repairs, upgrades, installations, and many other technical tasks
Also, be the first point of contact for customers and escalate issues when necessary
Finally, be keen to collaborate with others, knowing that the best results come from pooling ideas, experience, and expertise.
Experience of having worked in a previous helpdesk environment within the IT sector.
Firstly, have good knowledge of remote control technology and applications.
Knowledge or awareness of network infrastructures and terminologies.
HP Service Manager 7.
ITIL Foundation as well as MCP / MCSE.
Also, have working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, W7, and Office 2003 / 2010.
The candidate should have experience with Active Directory including Admin Functions.
Self-motivated as well as can work on their own initiative.
Also, be able to navigate a degree of ambiguity.
Proven track record of performing under pressure.
Great attention to detail and the ability to adopt new processes as well as procedures.
Finally, have an attitude toward delivering top-quality customer service in a challenging environment.
