Senior Finance Analyst role in Aldershot.
The salary for this role is £40,000 to £43,000.
This role is remote. You will need to be located within a commutable distance to our Head Office in Aldershot, Hampshire.
This is a full time role working Monday to Friday. You will work 37.5 hours per week based from home, with the ability to travel to our Head Office in Aldershot, Hampshire when required. For the first 6 months, you will be required to work from our Head Office 2-3 times per week whilst getting to grips with the role. You will mainly work from home once settled in the role.
As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will account for costs and revenues of around $20m a year. This is across several vendors, customer accounts, and processes. Support business operations with financial analysis and insight at both UK&I and EMEA level.
Firstly, provide business partner support to operational managers at multiple levels. Act as a trusted finance expert and adviser.
Hold regular finance reviews and present on financial performance.
Work with operational managers to ensure the profitability of customer accounts in your area of responsibility is maintained.
Be part of the EMEA internal “Business Intelligence” extended team – cross departmental company community.
Also, provide deep analysis of Business KPIs. Present results to senior managers.
Look at non-financial metrics and business data at both UKI and European level, trend analysis and working with other departments. This is in order to understand what’s driving results and how that could impact financial performance.
Support the EMEA FP&A Lead analyst on a number of European reporting tasks and processes. Provide backup on reporting results up through the wider Corporation.
Act as Finance Lead and SME on various finance and business projects as allocated by the UK&I Finance Manager, ensuring project objectives are met on time.
Finally, act as the deputy for the UK&I Finance Manager. Provide critical and trusted support.
Firstly, have minimum part qualified CIMA / ACCA or equivalent, with a drive to continue studies.
Proven record of providing financial analysis and recommendations, data gathering, and supporting business managers in improving the company’s performance.
Also, have the ability to build relationships both face to face and remotely.
Strong interpersonal skills. Have the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management.
Have excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisation skills.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel. This includes pivot tables, lookups, and the ability to write formulas.
Excellent written and verbal English skills.
Finally, have a full UK driving license. Have access to your own vehicle so you can travel to our Head Office in Aldershot, Hampshire when required.
Firstly, have 4-5 years of experience in accounting and finance, some with financial analysis.
Advanced MS Excel skills, such as the ability to write VBA, macros in MS Excel would be an advantage.
Skills in modern analytical tools such as Tableau or Power BI are an advantage. Or, have the ability to pick up such tools quickly.
Also, working knowledge in using SAP, or other ERP system.
Finally, have experience in dealing with large amounts of data.
