Service Desk Supervisor job contract role opportunity. This role is based onsite in Hampton, Peterborough
Wage: £17-£19p/h experience depending (through Umbrella)
37.5-40 hours a week Monday to Friday working 2 weekends a week but getting those days back in the week.
The role will be an initial 3-month contract looking to extend and potential perm opportunities in the future.
You will need to have experience dealing with people management.
Main Purpose of the Service Desk Supervisor Job
Support: Provide support and a point of escalation to a team of service desk analysts and assist the Team Leaders and other supervisors in their responsibilities.
Ensure process, procedural and contractual agreements are being followed correctly by the team.
Daily, Weekly, Monthly & Ad-hoc reporting when required.
Monthly performance one-to-ones & ad-hoc catch ups.
Develop and coach team members to improve performance and delivery of service.
Conducting training of team members to maximize their potential.
Empowering team members with skills to improve their confidence, knowledge, and communication skills.
Through monitoring, management and contribution ensure the team achieve and exceed relevant SLAs, OLAs and KPIs.
Provide the team leaders with regular reports and updates on analysts from the one-to-ones.
Previous people management experience.
Previous coaching & development experience.
Knowledge and experience in matters such as welfare, and conduct/capabilities issues in line with HR procedures.
A genuine passion for leading individuals to deliver excellence through continuous development and improvement.

Ability to work as part of a team to deliver operational excellence.
