We have an exciting job opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer to join our client on a permanent basis predominately in London. In addition, this opportunity has hybrid working available. This position is to start ASAP, therefore the right candidate will be able to commence employment immediately. At most, hold a 1 month’s notice period.
Working Hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9am – 5pm). Overtime is available for additional hours worked.
Our client is a rapidly expanding its specialist IT and Networks consultancy. As a result, they have a number of opportunities to work in challenging and exciting environments. As such, they are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Network Engineer to work full time for one of our prestigious clients in the USA. Working as the Senior Network Engineer, you will have a pivotal role in the company. Above all, you will be the go-to expert for any Network and Infrastructure issues. In conclusion, will help to transform our Client’s business.
Firstly, you will be key in the design and implementation of highly available diverse network architectures, as well as subsequent maintenance and support.
Secondly, you will develop guidelines on the usage of complex systems and their components.
Thirdly, you will be an escalation point for offshore.
In conclusion, you will utilise your extensive networking knowledge, as well as your proven track record of working on global networks.
Above all, you will become a crucial part of our Client’s network.
As a Senior Network Engineer you will:
Be educated to a degree level ideally within a relevant technical field.
Experience with Cisco ACI.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP based networks and networking protocols, for instance, OSPF, and BGP.
Experience building, designing and supporting LANs/WANs.
Advanced level knowledge of Routing and Switching, for instance, CCNP or CCIE level/certified
Experience with WAN circuits and solutions, for example, MPLS and VPNs.
Knowledge of working with Firewalling technologies, such as Checkpoint/Palo Alto/Fortinet/Cisco.
Knowledge of Application Delivery Controllers such as F5, Citrix
Proficient level knowledge of networking design and documentation (HLD/LLD)
Strong communication and presentation skills
Network programmability and frameworks as in Ansible/Python.
Software Defined Solutions and Network virtualisation, for instance, Cisco ACI/VMware NSX/Nuage. Cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure)
SC Cleared or the ability to undergo Security Clearance.

22 days basic holiday which will increase to a maximum of 25 days.
